Sarn Baptist Chapel

Since at least 1826 there has been continuous Baptist witness in the village of Sarn. The work was begun by Revd John Jones, Minister of Zion Baptist Church, Newtown. Sarn Chapel was erected in 1827 and a small Schoolroom was built in 1938.

The Burial Ground Memorial Inscriptions have been recorded in Montgomeryshire Records, No. MR/MI/66 Parish of Sarn (Montgomeryshire Genealogical Society, 2004).

Services are held every Sunday with Holy Communion normally being observed on the second Sunday of each month at 10.30 a.m. Information about the services are published, together with a brief history of the work, on the church's website.
