Kerry Public Toilets
Published: 10 May 2023
Projected completed April 23
Formal Opening was held on 6th May 2023Kerry Community Council has great pleasure in announcing that the newly built disabled toilet extension of Kerry Public Toilets and the renovated main toilet block is now ‘open for business’!
This project has been funded in the main by The National Lottery, the Garreg Lwyd Wind Farm Fund, and a funding contribution generated from the new Dolforgan View development. KCCs thanks and acknowledgements go to each of these groups for their kind help.
Our thanks also go to Will Holding and Nick Price, of Powys Building Contractors, who many of you will have met and chatted with during the last few months of the build. They have done a fantastic job.
The extension unit features a fully compliant toilet facility for disabled and wheelchair use, as well as having a drop down table designed for baby changing purposes. It has been nicely decorated, with full tiling to the walls and contemporary non-slip tiled flooring, and features motion sensitive lighting.
The renovated existing male and female units of the original toilets included the installation of a new hot water system.
We would love to know what you think of the new building – so do please get in touch with your comments
Kind regards
Kerry Community Council
